Slowly...

0 min read
I am slowly but surely adding things to the gallery here. It's slow going due to several factors. First, the majority of my photos are stored on one computer and Rob is usually using that one when he is at home and online. Second, the sad fact is that I work nights, sleep days, and have a sad lack of free time to spend in front of the computer sorting through and editing and uploading photos. And finally, because when I am not actually at work but am awake, there are a ton of things that need to be done around the house and yard that have been put off for months, if not years, and they demand the majority of my free time right now. So for no

I am actually still alive, though it might not seem like it if anyone checks my galleries on DA! Sadly, the real world of work, house and yard work, and other obligations have been keeping me away from here for a very long time. I am struggling to make time to add new(er) images to the gallery as I can. I have two years worth of photos sitting on the computer, many of them originally intended for this page, and I am constantly snapping photos at all the events and local attractions I go to. One day, I swear they will end up here. But finding the time is just so hard anymore. There are only 24 hours in a day, and most days, 20 of them are alre

Slow Going

0 min read
So I just updated my account to paid again to help make it easier for me to sort out the gallery, create new folders and sub folders,  and hopefully make things easier to find. It's slow going right now due to my work schedule, but I will eventually get it all arranged the way I want it. New photos are being added, but much more slowly than I had wanted, and in a rather jumbled, out of sequence mess, which means more work to sort out, but since I have only a very limited time to upload things at the moment, much of it is just a matter of grabbing the first files I come across and getting them loaded. I know I am doing this all backwards and o

Love your page, gallery and I have to add you to my widget with all the deviants that wow me. You certainly wow me for sure. Keep up the awesome pics and I look forward to more of the beautiful hearses.
Thank you so very much!!!

The hearses belong to a local area group called "Carolina Coffin Cruisers." They come out to quite a few of the events around the state and most of the members also work a lot of the fall haunted houses and attractions. So there will be more photos of them coming, and hopefully some others as well. We are lucky to live in an area with a huge group of people who own and collect antique and classic cars, including hearses. My biggest dream is to win the lottery and be able to buy one for myself!
You're Welcome! :la:
And oh boy, I want them! :faint:
Wish I was there.

And that is what I am working on too. I would love a '59 or '63 more than anything (That Won't Happen LOL) but right now I am eyeing one like the black one you have on your front page towards the top left. :faint:
And Good Luck to you getting one too! :glomp:
I would be happy at this point to just find one in a junk yard or sitting in someone's yard rusting away, that I could buy for a cheap price and restore. It's about the only way I think I would ever be able to afford it. But I have wanted one for as long as I can remember, and the more time I spend around this group, the stronger the urge to find one of my own gets!
